Story

Our children are the inspiration behind our brand. We believe we can have a positive
impact on their lives by teaching them to care about the clothing they wear and how it is made.
We strive to cultivate an appreciation for quality over quantity, live in a world where less is more,
and teach our children that slow fashion is a more sustainable choice.

Based in Brooklyn, our Woven Collection is produced in Portugal and our Knitwear & Essentials Collections are produced in Peru. We are proud to partner with manufacturers that are ethical and sustainable in their practices. We are committed to producing garments which are made from 100% natural materials, mainly cotton and wool, with small blends of wood pulp fibers for increased softness.
We aim to source the highest quality materials which are grown and manufactured locally,
and choose organic and post-consumer recycled cotton when possible.

For our woven's collection, we work with a specialized manufacturer in Portugal, who is creating natural and sustainable dyes from Mineral and BioTint processes. Mineral Dye takes color from stones, which are harvested from quarries, crushed and processed into a colored powder. BioTint takes color from organic waste in the form of roots, leaves and seed extracts. Discarded organic waste, such as onion skins and coffee grinds are collected from local producers and then processed to create beautiful, rich colors. Bi-products are then composted by the manufacturer and returned to the land as fertilizer. We also use an alternative, and eco-friendly denim washing process, called Ozone Wash. This technique is used to achieve a bleached effect on denim without using bleach and other harsh chemicals. The process uses less water, less energy, and is much safer for factory workers.

We consciously make an effort to reduce our ecological footprint in everything we do. Our packaging and shipping materials are 100% paper and recyclable. Our garments are packagedin glassine bags which are made from wood pulp, an FSC® certified paper. These bags are water and grease resistant, recyclable, and naturally biodegradable and compostable.

We make clothing that we hope you will cherish and pass down for generations to come.
Thank you for looking and joining us in our efforts.
